SMVITM students developed ‘Solar Operated Automatic Seed Sowing Machine’

Final year Mechanical Engineering students of SMVITM, Bantakal, have developed a Solar Operated Automatic Seed Sowing Machine to support eco-friendly and labor-saving farming. Guided by Dr. Raja Yateesh Yadav, the project was completed by Aishwarya, Kiran, Gurukiran, and Likhith Yermal. Powered by solar energy and automated with Arduino, the machine can dig, sow, and spray, offering a sustainable solution for farmers, especially in rural areas. The management and principal have lauded the team’s innovative effort.
