The Department of Computer Science and Engineering in association with IEEE Student Branch and ISTE student chapter of SMVITM Organized a two day workshop on ‘Android Application Development’. Students of 5th semester CSE, Mr. Deepak Nayak, Mr. Ullas, Mr. Shetty Sourabh and Mr. Faheem Ahmad were the resource persons for the two day workshop.
On the first day, the participants were guided through installation of required software and later were introduced to some basic app development technics using Android Studio.
On the first half of second day, database connectivity, UI design were clearly explained. In the afternoon session on day two, students were involved in an app development competition and all students enthusiastically participated in the event.
It was a great leaning experience for the 5th sem CSE students to be part of this learning activity.
The program was coordinated by Mr. Deepak Rao M, institution ISTE coordinator. The overall planning and guidence was given by the Head of the Department of CSE, Dr. Vasudeva.
