Industrial Visit to Kaiga Nuclear Power Plant by ECE students

Department of E & C Engineering in association with ED Cell conducted an industrial tour to Kaiga Nuclear Power Plant on 29 & 30 March 2019. Forty two students of final year ECE along with 5 faculty members participated in the tour cum visit and enriched their knowledge. During the visit, the Kaiga authorities escorted the students around the plant and explained the various sections of the power plant and the theory behind nuclear power generation. On the way to Kaiga, and while returning, the students and faculty visited Murudeshwara Temple, Mirjan Fort, Karvara Beach and Kadra dam. Assistant Professor Mr. Sachin Prabhu coordinated the trip.
