Industrial visit to Lakshmi Cryogenics Pvt. Ltd, Baikampady Industrial Area, Mangaluru

The Entrepreneurship Development Cell in association with Department of Mechanical Engineering, SMVITM, Bantakal has organized industrial visit to Lakshmi Cryogenics Pvt. Ltd, Baikampady Industrial Area, Mangaluru on 16 April 2019 for final year mechanical engineering students.

Around 27 final year mechanical engineering students have visited the industry along with three faculty members. The Plant in-charge Mr. Shohan took the students around the plant and explained the operations and the mode of work in their industry. Lakshmi Cryogenics Pvt. Ltd will be procuring liquid oxygen, liquid argon and liquid carbon-di-oxide from steel industries. These liquids were gasified and filled in suitable cylinders and supplied to their clients. Major Hospitals, Restaurants and Fabrication units in Mangaluru are the clients of this industry.

Mr. Ganesh Kalagi has coordinated the visit. Dr. Gajanan Anne and Mr. Raja Yateesh Yadav have accompanied the team of students. Dr. Gajanan Anne has presented the memento to Mr. Shohan as a token of love and gratitude from SMVITM.
