Code Troopers- Introduction of student clubs for 1st years

The program was about introducing the Coding club of SMVITM “Code Troopers” to 1st-year students.

The program was organized by the students with the guidance of faculties.

The program started by showcasing the mini projects which were done by final year and pre-final year students. This was to make them feel that even they can do some big projects, it won’t be difficult. This was followed by a talk on GitHub, which informed them how Corporate companies manage their projects.

One of our goals is to improve problem-solving skills in our students. They were then introduced to different web platforms like HackerRank, GeeksforGeeks etc. where they can practice coding and improve their problem-solving skills.

A brief introduction to LinkedIn was also given to them so that they can start building their LinkedIn profile from the beginning of their college life. There were also talks about product development, the importance of Internship, ISTE & IEEE. There were also various types of technical quizzes which were fun and informative.
