Internet of Things(IoT) club was started at SMVITM on 6 April 2016 with a very novel approach of  “Ideate, Build and Work” model where students can ideate the solutions to real time problems in the arena of IoT ,build the rapid prototypes of their ideas and come up with the working model.

SangamOne Connected Services Pvt Ltd. Bengaluru is one of the industry partners for the IoT club which continuously supports the students and the club in the IoT related activities.

DLithe Consultancy Services Pvt Ltd is one of the industry partners for Product Development covering Embedded Devices, Internet of Things, Robotics, Automotive Electronics, Unmanned and Autonomous Vehicles, Drones, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning tools, Deep Learning, Agentic AI, Physical AI, Cybersecurity and other advanced topics

  • To establish itself as a centre of excellence for IoT in and around D.K and Udupi District.
  • To provide the fostering environment for students to quickly implement their ideas and get the hands-on experience across the various IoT application domains.
  • To conduct the training programs and workshops from the industry experts regularly to nurture the skill-set required for IoT
  • To bolster ties with domain specific IoT industries to provide required industrial exposure to students.
  • To set up start-up ecosystem which provides ample space for the students to turn their naive ideas into commercial venture.
