Technical Talk on “Opportunities and Expectations in IT Industry”

Mr. Praveen Kumar Kalbhavi, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Novigo Solutions Private Limited had visited Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management, Bantakal on 17 August, 2016 and delivered a talk to the final year students on “Opportunities and Expectations in IT Industry”. In his address he told that in spite of recession in IT industry and significant fall in IT job markets, opportunities are ample for really deserving candidates. Smart people will always have place in IT companies. He explained what skills are expected from engineering graduates to be absorbed in IT field. Also he highlighted the challenges, scope and opportunities for the people who desire to start their own companies.

Prof. Thirumaleshwara Bhat, Principal, Prof. Vasudeva, HOD of Computer Science and Engineering, Prof. Siju V Soman, ISTE chapter coordinator, Ms. Sujatha Rao, Placement & Training Officer and other faculty members were present. Ms. Nishmitha Y R compeered the program and Ms. Suchetha introduced the guest to the audience.
