Webinar for Teachers

The Department of Public Instruction, Udupi in association with PRIME Udupi has organized webinar on “Teacher Empowerment” for the benefit of teachers across the state on 04 September 2020, at Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management campus, as a part of Teachers Day celebrations.

The program was inaugurated by Shri. Sheshashayana Karinje, DDPI, Udupi. In his inaugural address, he spoke  on the roles and responsibilities of teachers in the present scenario of New Education Policy. The inaugural program is presided over by Shri. Rathnakumar, Secretary of Shri Sode Vadiraja Mutt Education Trust. In his presidential remarks, he suggested the teaching community to motivate the students to take up competitive exams. More than one thousand participants from various schools and colleges across the state have joined this webinar online. Dr. C K Manjunath, Student Welfare Officer of SMVITM and Shri. A P Kodancha, Principal of S.V.H. PU College, Innanje were resource persons of the webinar. Shri. Ashok Kamath, Senior Lecturer of DIET in his address he stressed on the need of life long learning,  Dr. Thirumaleshwara Bhat, Principal of SMVITM, and Dr. Ganesh Aithal, Vice-Principal of SMVITM were present on the occasion. SMVITM has rendered all the required technical support for hosting this webinar.
