Valedictory Ceremony of “Hackothsava 2025” – November 4, 2025

The Valedictory program of Hackothsava 2025, a 30-hour National Level Hackathon organized by Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management (SMVITM), Bantakal, was held on November 4, 2025, at the institute premises.

Sri Ravishankar Nateshmurthy, Vice President of Technology at Neokred, Bengaluru, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. In his address, he applauded the institute for providing an excellent platform for students to showcase their technical skills through Hackothsava 2025. He motivated the participants to develop deep expertise in their chosen domains, emphasizing that mastery and passion will pave the way for great success in their careers.

Sri Rathnakumar, Secretary of SSVMET, Udupi, presided over the function. In his presidential remarks, he extended gratitude to all the companies that sponsored the event, provided problem statements, and mentored the participants in crafting practical, real-world solutions. He also highlighted the importance of conducting such events as a continuous stride toward academic excellence and innovation, reinforcing SMVITM’s legacy as an “Academically Autonomous Institution” within just 15 years of establishment.

Team Code Forge from JSS Science and Technology University, Mysuru, bagged the first place and received a cash prize of ₹35,000 along with a trophy for their solution to a problem statement given by Be Practical Tech Solutions.
Team Abra Code Abra from PA College of Engineering, Mangaluru, secured the second place, winning a cash prize of ₹25,000 and a trophy for solving a problem statement given by Karmic Solutions.

Teams Tech4Good (SJCE, Mysuru), Neuratron (a combined team from VVCE and JSSSTU, Mysuru), Sapient Scholars (Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, Bengaluru), and Fullstack Alchemist (Alvas Institute of Engineering and Technology, Moodabidri) were recognized for presenting the best innovative solutions to problem statements provided by Real Meta, SangamOne Connected Services Pvt. Ltd., Kroolo, and Tetherfi, respectively.

The event was attended by Dr. Radhakrishna S. Aithal, CEO of Sode Group of Institutions, Dr. Nagaraj Bhat, Dean (Academics), and Mr. Sumedh Navuda, Student Coordinator of Hackothsava 2025. The program was compered by Ms. Sumayya Riaz and coordinated by Ms. Savitha Shenoy from the Department of CSE.
