SMVITM Signs MOU with St Mary’s College, Shirva under Educational Social Responsibility

Basic education is not sufficient for students to obtain jobs in large industries in the current competitive era. It is necessary to learn new tools and technologies every day to increase their creativity in special skills. St Mary’s College, Shirva and Sri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management, Bantakal signed an agreement to shoulder mutual educational and social responsibility of BCA degree students to provide them excellent education, training and help them obtain suitable jobs. The MOU Signing ceremony was held at the campus of St. Mary’s College, Shirva.

Dr. Thirumaleshwara Bhat, Principal of SMVITM said that SMVITM will help to provide required skills and technical knowledge to the students for their all-round development making them pro-society individuals. Dr. Vasudeva, HoD of CSE at SMVITM said that they will conduct value based and skill-based technical courses for no cost.

Dr. Herald Ivan Monis, Principal, St. Mary’s College, Shirva in praise said the agreement is not confined to students alone but teaching staff also. Mr. K. Praveen Kumar, HoD of Computer Science briefed the scope and contents of the agreement.

Mr. Jossy D’Souza, Office Superintendent, Professor Vittal Nayak and teaching staff members were present. Assistant professor Prakash welcomed the gathering. Assistant professor, Sushma compered the programme. Ms. Divyashree rendered the vote of thanks.
