SCIENTIFIC SECRETARY OF ISRO VISITS SMVITM.

Dr. Y V N Krishnamurthy, Scientific Secretary, Indian Space Research Organization, Bengaluru visited Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management, Bantakal on 07 November, 2015 and interacted with faculty and students. In his interaction he briefed the new initiatives, projects undertaken by ISRO and explained the future scope for research. Prof. Dr. Radhakrishna S. Aithal, Director, Prof. Dr. Thirumaleshwara Bhat, Principal, Prof. Dr. A. Ganesha, Dean (Academics), HODs of different departments, were present. Mr. Anantha Mohan introduced the guest and Mrs. Laxmi Shetty proposed the vote of thanks. Prof. Dr. Sudarshan Rao of Mechanical Engineering department coordinated the program. Later he visited Civil Engineering department and interacted with the faculty about prospects of having collaborations with ISRO in research and development.
