“ROTARACT SAMMILANA2016”

Rotaract Club of Shri Madhwa  Vadiraja Institute of Technology & Management, (SMVITM), Bantakal, under the aegis of Rotary  Shankerpura organized “ Rotaract Sammilana 2016” at the institute premises on 07 May  2016.

Rtn. PHF Mahadeva Swamy, District Rotaract Representative (DRR), Rotary International District (RID) 3180, Presided over the function, addressed the gathering and appreciated the students of SMVITM for their wonderful achievements in this academic year.  The guest of honor Advika Shetty, DID fame, in her address briefly explained the importance of identifying and nurturing the hidden talents of the youngsters. The guest of honor Rtn. Manjappa D Goni, ZRR, Karavali Zone, R.I.Dist-3180, in his address briefly explained the importance of the Rotaract movement and congratulated the members of Rotaract Club.

Ms. Advika Shetty of DID Fame and Mr. Prajwal Sherigar, a student of the institute and Yakshagana artiste were felicitated in recognition of their achievements on the occasion.

Prof. Dr. Thirumaleshwara Bhat, Principal, SMVITM delivered his message on the occasion. Dr. A.  Ganesha, Dean (Academics), SMVITM; Rtn. Edward Mendonsa, Rotaract Chairperson and Mr. Kishor Kumar Aroor,  Rotaract Club Faculty Coordinator; Rtr. Deviprasad Shetty, President, SMVITM Rotaract Club were present.

The program commenced with the Rotaract prayer by Rtr. Sneha S Hegde. Rtr. Sushmitha Baliga welcomed the guests and Rtr. Alva Rakshith presented a brief report on the various activities organized by the club during the academic year. Rtr. Shubha Rao delivered the vote of thanks. The Program was compeered by Rtr. Samanvitha A. Bhagvath.
