Report on Short Term Training Program on “Development of Laboratory Instruction and Manual”

A 5- day Short Term Training Program on “Development of Laboratory Instruction and Manual” through ICT mode was organized by Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management at E-Shikshana room from Feb. 4, 2019 to Feb. 8, 2019 conducted by National Institute of Technical Teacher’s Training and Research, Kolkata. 15 teaching and non-teaching staffs of various departments actively participated in the interactive sessions.

The program was intended to develop the skill for the preparation of laboratory manual for technical institutes. On the first day, instructor explained the role of laboratory manual and instructors in technical institutes. Development of laboratory manual was exercised on the second way with practice sessions. Instructor focused on various types of hazards coming across the labs on the third day. In addition, safe operating procedure for lab activities were explained on the fourth day. At the end, preparation of lab manual, its usage, and assessment of students based on several criteria were explained.
