One-Day Workshop on “GitHub and Flutter for Application Development” – 29 August 2025

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, in association with the Technocrators Club and IEEE ComSoc, organized a one-day workshop on “GitHub and Flutter for Application Development” on 29th August 2025 at SMVITM, Bantakal. Conducted by Mr. Shashank and Mr. Kaushik (5th semester students) with the support of Mr. Arun Upadhyaya (HoD, ECE) and Ms. Pavithra Poornima S (Assistant Professor (Sr.), Coordinator, Technocrators Club), the workshop provided hands-on training in version control using Git/GitHub and cross-platform mobile application development with Flutter. Students gained practical exposure to creating repositories, managing commits, and building simple apps using Flutter, equipping them with essential skills for modern software engineering.
