NBA Accreditation Secured – A Milestone in Mechanical Engineering

The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management, Bantakal is accredited by National Board of Accreditation for a period of three years, recognizing its commitment to excellence in engineering education and continuous quality improvement. National Board of Accreditation (NBA) is the highest autonomous body under Government
of India, which assess the qualitative competence of the programs offered by technical educational institution in India.

This prestigious accreditation, effective from the academic year 2025-26, was granted after a rigorous evaluation process conducted by the NBA expert team, which assessed the department’s academic processes, faculty qualifications,infrastructure, student outcomes, research activities and industry collaborations. The NBA accreditation helps the department in multiple ways, including enhanced credibility, improved employment prospects for graduates, eligibility for government funding and greater opportunities for international collaboration.
