National Innovation Day Celebration

Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management Bantakal conducted “National Innovation Day” on 15, October 2020. The national Innovation Day is celebrated commemorating the birth anniversary of former President of India, Bharat Ratna APJ Abdul Kalam. This Program was organized by Entrepreneurship Development cell and Innovation Cell of the Institute.

Speaking on this occasion, The Principal of the institute Prof. Dr. Thirumaleshwara Bhat shared the contributions of Dr. Kalam to the nation with the participants. He also stressed that the innovation is key to success of any nation and need to cultivate idea of innovation among the students.

The Vice Principal of the institute, Dr. Ganesh Aithal informed the gathering that innovations have happened even in ancient days and still continuing in this century. He also shared his experience in the area of entrepreneurship and innovation.

Dr. C. K Manjunath, the Student Welfare Officer (SWO), described Dr. Kalam as the man with vision. He told, Dr. Kalam always believed that hard work, courage and commitment are key to the success and we need to follow the in the footsteps of Dr. Kalam.

The Dean (Research), Dean (QA), Head of the Departments and Faculties of all the departments participated in the program. Mr. Arun Upadhyaya, coordinator of the program welcomed the gathering and Mr. Sandesh Kumar proposed vote of thanks at the end of the program.
