IEEE Student Branch, SMVITM has achieved a proud milestone by securing 5 prestigious awards at the IEEE Bangalore Section Annual General Meeting, held on 18 January 2026 at Bengaluru. The branch received recognitions including Outstanding Large Student Branch Award–2025, Top 25 Student Branches in IEEE Bangalore Section, MDC Challenge Award–2025, Chair’s Recognition Award to Dr. Nagaraja Rao (Branch Counselor, SMVITM Bantakal), and Outstanding Student Volunteer Award–2025 to Ms. Annapurna Shenoy (IEEE Student Chair, SMVITM).
