Annual Sports Meet 2026 Celebrated with Great Enthusiasm and Sportsmanship

The Annual Sports Meet 2026 was held on 25 February 2026 at the campus of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology & Management, Bantakal. The event celebrated sportsmanship, determination, and healthy competition among students.

The inaugural function was graced by Vignesh, Mr. India 2024 Gold Medalist and All India Inter Railway Champion, who served as the Chief Guest. In his address, he appreciated the dedication of students and faculty and encouraged everyone to pursue excellence in both academics and sports while maintaining fairness, courage, and discipline.

Radhakrishna S. Aithal presided over the function and highlighted the importance of sports in building leadership, resilience, and character among students.

The event featured an impressive march past, with the students of Niramaya College of Nursing and Allied Sciences winning First Prize for the Best Contingent, while the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) contingent secured Second Prize. The Overall Championship was also awarded to the CSE students. The sports meet concluded with the valedictory ceremony in the presence of dignitaries, faculty, and students, celebrating the spirit of teamwork and athletic excellence.
