An awareness talk on NEP-2020

Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management (SMVITM) in association with All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi has organized a session on “NEP-2020 Impact on Higher Education Sector“ on 31 March 2021 at its campus.

Dr. C K Manjunatha, Student Welfare Officer at SMVITM was the resource person of the session. In his address, explained about the Evolution of National Education Policy in India,  the proposed Academic structure under NEP-2020, Comparison of the existing academic structure with proposed structure and the Key principles of NEP-2020. Also the speaker threw light on the common regulatory body for all streams of HEIs, flexibility for the students to learn the course of their choice/interest and the role of HEIs in adopting themselves with the changing trends etc.,

Dean (Quality Assurance) Dr. Sudarshan Rao K has compeered and coordinated the session. Vice-Principal, Dean (Research & Consultancy), HODs, Faculty & Staff members of SMVITM were present in the session.
