A Guest Talk on “Igniting the Entrepreneurial Mindset”

As part of Aarambh 2K25, the MBA Orientation Programme, the Department of Business Administration in association with the Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC), the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), and the Co-curricular Committee organized an inspiring guest talk on “Igniting the Entrepreneurial Mindset” by Mr. John Rohan.

The session began with an interactive discussion on students’ career aspirations, followed by a thought-provoking story that underscored the power of creativity and innovation. Mr. Rohan emphasized that entrepreneurship is not just about starting a business, but about cultivating a mindset — one defined by ownership, initiative, innovation, and courage. He highlighted key entrepreneurial traits such as vision, resilience, adaptability, and value creation, reminding students that failure is not the opposite of success but an integral part of it.

Through real-life examples and engaging discussions, the session encouraged students to think differently, take initiative, and approach challenges with creativity and confidence — embodying the true spirit of an entrepreneurial leader.
