Techno week 2017

The ISTE Student Chapter and Civil Engineering Department of SMVITM, Bantakal in association with Association of Consulting Civil Engineers (India), Mangalore centre organized a Technical lectures titled “Building cracks and bad detailing” and “Introduction to building construction” at the institute premises on 22nd September 2017. In this session Mr. D’souza had explained regarding the different types of cracks in building, remedial measures to control or retrofit the structural cracks. He also given a talk on sub topic related to building construction practice in India and its significance. Program was concluded by giving token of gratitude by our beloved principal. Total number of students participated is 65.
