In response to the growing need for secure, transparent, and decentralized
identity management, this project proposes a blockchain-based solution that
addresses the limitations of traditional centralized systems, which are prone to
data breaches, tampering, and privacy issues. By leveraging the decentralized, immutable, and cryptographically secure nature of blockchain technology, the system ensures data integrity and minimizes reliance on third- party intermediaries. Central to the solution is the concept of self-sovereign
identity (SSI), empowering individuals to manage and control access to their
personal data securely. Utilizing smart contracts and distributed ledger
technology, the proposed system offers a scalable, efficient, and trustworthy approach to identity management across diverse sectors such as healthcare, education, and government services.
