SMVITM is now an officially recognized ASME Student Section.

Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management (SMVITM) has been officially recognized as an ASME Student Section by the prestigious American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). The charter, issued in November 2025, marks a significant milestone for the institution and the Department of Mechanical Engineering, strengthening professional engagement and technical learning opportunities for students. This recognition will encourage students to participate in ASME-led activities, workshops, technical events, and collaborative initiatives, thereby enhancing their exposure to global engineering standards and industry-focused learning.
