Two-Day Workshop on “DevOps Essentials: From Code to Deployment” | 8 & 13 November 2025

The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management (SMVITM), in collaboration with IEEE, ISTE Student Chapters, and Algoorbit Innovations, organized a two-day workshop titled “DevOps Essentials: From Code to Deployment” for 5th semester AIML students on 8 November 2025 and 13 November 2025 at Workshop Block F107–F108. Dr. Mamatha I, Head of the Department of AI & ML, emphasized the importance of DevOps practices in improving collaboration between teams, increasing efficiency, and accelerating the deployment of AI and ML applications. The workshop was led by Mr. Nishan H. Kamath, who introduced students to key DevOps principles and practices, focusing on bridging the gap between development and operations for smoother delivery workflows. By the end of the workshop, participants gained practical exposure and actionable insights to adopt DevOps practices, enhance workflow efficiency, and transition towards a DevOps framework. Dr. Ganesh Prasad, Mrs. Mamatha S, Mrs. Ashwini K, and Dr. Rashmi Samanth were present during the session.
