SMVITM Students Secure Prizes in Capture the Flag (CTF) Competition | 30–31 October 2025

SMVITM students Mr. Shreyas and Mr. Ian Mark Lobo brought laurels to the institution by securing prizes in the Capture the Flag (CTF) competition held on 30–31 October 2025 at NITK Surathkal. The event was part of the Cybersecurity and CTF Bootcamp, which began with an intensive training session on cybersecurity fundamentals, followed by the CTF contest where participants identified vulnerabilities in machines and websites. Mr. Shreyas clinched First Prize and received a cash award of ₹10,000, while Mr. Ian Mark Lobo secured Third Prize with a cash award of ₹5,000.
