SMVITM Student Secures Gold Medal at VTU State-Level Powerlifting Championship (7–8 November 2025)

Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management (SMVITM), Bantakal, is proud to announce that Mr. Laxmeesh V, a second-year Computer Science and Engineering student, has won the Gold Medal in the VTU State Level Powerlifting (Men) Championship. The championship was held on 7th and 8th November 2025 at RV Institute of Technology and Management, Bengaluru, where he delivered an outstanding performance and secured the first position in the 120+ kg weight category. In recognition of his achievement, Mr. Laxmeesh has also been selected to represent the VTU Powerlifting Team at the South Zone Inter-University Championship (National Level Event). The Management, Principal, and Physical Education Director of SMVITM have congratulated him for his commendable accomplishment and for bringing laurels to the institution.
