ATL Connect Program on IoT Applications at SVH Schools, Innanje on 18 July 2025

As part of its community outreach initiative, students of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management (SMVITM), Bantakal conducted hands-on learning sessions on IoT Applications at SVH English Medium High School and SVH Kannada Medium High School, Innanje.

The event aimed to ignite curiosity in STEM education and innovation among Class IX and X students through interactive sessions on:

  • Basics of electronics and sensors

  • Arduino programming and LED control

  • Real-time circuit simulations via TinkerCAD

  • Simple automation concepts

Delivered in a bilingual and engaging format, the sessions made complex topics accessible for rural school students. Around 60 students from each school enthusiastically participated and explored creative problem-solving with technology.

The program was well-received by students and appreciated by the school faculty. It was coordinated by Mr. Deepak Rao and Mr. Raghavendra Hegde, faculty members of CSE Department, SMVITM.
