training program on “CATIA software” – 2017

The department of Mechanical Engineering under ISTE Student Chapter has organized training program on “CATIA software” from 18 September 2017 to 11 November 2017 for pre-final year mechanical engineering students in CAD Lab of the institution. The training program was conducted from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM on weekdays. Mr. Prashanth from MSM consultancy, Bangalore conducted hands on sessions on Basics of drafting and modeling in CATIA software. Drafting and creating models was demonstrated to the students and they performed the same in CATIA software. 32 interested students actively involved in the training program.
