Guest lecture on Electromagnetic Field Theory

The department of E&C Engineering arranged a one-day guest lecture on Electromagnetic Field Theory by eminent Professor Dr. T G S Chandrashekarappa of MIT Manipal, on 01 Nov 2015. All the 105 students of third semester ECE, along with the teachers handling the subject, attended the guest talk. Having vast teaching experience of over three decades, Prof. TGSC with his talk, made the students lose fear about the subject. After a brief introduction on Coulomb’s law and Gauss’ law, professor dealt in detail with Poisson’s equations, Maxwell’s equations and Faraday’s law.
Prof. Dr. Balachandra Achar, HOD of ECE department, Asst. Professor Mrs. Rajashree Nambiar and Asst. Professor Mr. Aruna M S attended the guest lecture along with the students.
