AN INSPIRED TALK ON “THE INDIAN FREEDOM STRUGGLE AND SACRIFICES”

The National Service Scheme (NSS), Youth Red Cross (YRC) and Rotaract Club of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management (SMVITM), Bantakal, jointly organized a talk on “The Indian Freedom Struggle and Sacrifices” on 30 August, 2017 in the institute premises.

Shri Pundalika Marate, retired teacher and journalist was the resource person for the occasion. He spoke about the struggles faced by our freedom fighters and the sacrifices that were made by them as well as their families. He also felt that if the present generation can appreciate the value of the freedom that was so heroically won by our fighters then, they might be more able to feel the need to build a stronger India for the future generations.

Prof. Dr. Thirumaleshwara Bhat, Principal, SMVITM, Institutional NSS/YRC/RC Coordinator Mr. Kishor Kumar Aroor, Heads of Various departments, office bearers of NSS/YRC and RC were present on the occasion.
