One Day Workshop on Branding of SMVITM

As a first step towards planning our horizon beyond 2020, the stakeholders of our college had a detailed deliberation on “Setting the Goals of SMVITM for the year 2025”. The program was held on Monday, 7 May 2018. The program started at 9.30 am and concluded around 5.30 in the evening. Shri Jagdish Acharya, the Honorable member of the External Technical Advisory Board of our college conducted the deliberation during the entire day. Following are the details about the program:

• Number of participants – 43 (comprising a few invited Parents/students/alumni/faculty/staff/management members)
• Program agenda were as follows:
  • Brief Introduction about the program
  • Recreating the past
  • Creating the Future
  • Group-wise discussion on what should be the key pillars of SMVITM
  • Presentation by each group
  • Discussion on Branding and tagline
  • Presentation of a snapshot of future through a short skit
• During the introduction part Shri Jagdish Acharya explained the importance of this exercise and how to proceed with the agenda. Also four groups were formed to chalk out the future plans for SMVITM. The first group comprising students and alumni, second group faculty, third and fourth group comprising a mixture of parents, senior faculty and management members.
