Interactive Session on “Career Prospects after Engineering”

Of the Students, By the Students and For the Students. A unique program – “Career Prospects after Engineering” by the Final Year Students of CSE for the benefit of 3rd Semester students, under the banner of ISTE Student Chapter of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology & Management, Bantakal held on 29 August 2018.

Various sessions were conducted by the Final Year CSE Students Ms. Samanvitha A Bhagavath,   Mr. Shrivishnu, Mr. Rajath and Mr. Haripriya S. Aithal. The same was well Co-ordinated by Ms. Chaithra Pai & Ms. Jyothi Kamath.

The main intention of this program was to show our undergraduate Students that, there are varieties of Opportunities to build-up their career once they come out of their Engineering.

Mr. Rajath spoke on entrepreneurship, job prospects in software engineering and technical certifications available for the aspirants to gain added knowledge. Mr. Haripriya Aithal spoke on opportunities in Government/ Public Sector companies/ Institutes like ISRO, BARC, DRDO, Banks etc. and the selection process of these firms. Ms. Samanvitha Bhagavath dealt with the process involved with UPSC selection (IAS, IPS, IFS, IES etc.) and Staff Selection Commission. Mr. Shrivishnu dealt with the exams like GRE, TOEFL, GATE, CAT, GMAT etc. to be appeared to get into higher studies.

There was active participation from Listeners also. This program would definitely help in guiding their future.
