Established in the year 2010, under the aegis of Shri Sode
Vadiraja Mutt Education Trust, Udupi, Shri Madhwa Vadiraja
Institute of Technology & Management (SMVITM) has emerged
as a promising institution in the region. With its highly motivated
and qualified faculty, excellent infrastructure and distinctive
learner-centric facilities, the institute has become the most
sought after engineering institute in the region. Adding a
feather to its cap, SMVITM, was accredited by NAAC with A-grade.
Admiring the objective of providing valued-added and holistic
engineering education to the needy students of rural belt at
affordable cost, former President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam made a
prestigious visit to the college in 2014, and interacted with the
students. Many other eminent personalities too have visited the
college and appreciated its dedication towards education and
research.
The MEEMS-2026 conference is an international interdisciplinary platform focused on Materials Engineering,
Energy Technologies, Environmental Sustainability, and Manufacturing Sciences. It aims to bring together
researchers, academicians, industry professionals, and students to actively engage in discussions and
presentations.
The key focus areas include advanced materials, renewable energy systems, environmental protection
technologies, and modern manufacturing innovations. The event will feature highlights such as keynote
lectures, technical sessions, panel discussions, and poster presentations, while also providing valuable
publication opportunities in reputed journals.
The overarching conference objectives are to promote innovation through academia–industry collaboration,
address emerging trends and global challenges, and provide a platform for high-quality research
presentation. It encourages interdisciplinary collaboration across Physics, Chemistry, Civil, and
Mechanical domains to support sustainable and industry-relevant solutions. Ultimately, MEEMS-2026 seeks to
strengthen research partnerships and facilitate global knowledge exchange.

A student symposium, held as part of MEEMS, offers a unique platform for young scholars to showcase their research, exchange ideas, and engage with experts in their fields. Such events foster intellectual growth, promote interdisciplinary collaboration, and provide networking opportunities with peers and professionals. Participants present papers, posters, and innovative projects, receiving valuable feedback to refine their work. These symposia also encourage critical thinking, public speaking skills, and exposure to global academic trends. By engaging in discussions and workshops, students gain insights into emerging challenges and advancements, enriching their academic journey and preparing them for future career endeavors.

Selected high-quality papers from MEEMS-2026 will be considered for publication in the Cureus Journal of Engineering, subject to independent peer review, editorial evaluation, and compliance with Cureus publication policies.
Below are some useful instructions to assist the authors in submitting their papers for MEEMS 2026.
Papers submitted to MEEMS 2026 shall contain original work by the author(s) that should not have been published or submitted for publication elsewhere. The anti-plagiarism policy is applicable to all submissions. The author(s) are solely responsible for any plagiarized submission.
All papers must be prepared and submitted in English using the MEEMS-2026 manuscript template in A4 size.
Authors are required to use the official MEEMS-2026 manuscript template provided by the conference. The Microsoft Word template can be downloaded from the Paper Template section of the conference website. Authors are requested to follow the prescribed formatting, referencing, figure, table, and manuscript-structure guidelines while preparing their submissions.
Please do not include page numbers on submitted documents.
Failing to conform to the standard format will result in rejection.
You can log in to Microsoft's Conference Management Toolkit using your Username and Password. From the top menu below Author Console, click "Create new submission" and choose any Track to submit the paper. Finally, you fill out all the necessary information concerning the submission, upload the paper and click "submit".

All submitted papers will undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process by at least two independent reviewers from the Technical Program Committee.
