The auspicious Undaru Shri Vishnumurthi Temple Jathre 2026–27 commenced on 13th April 2026 with great devotion and festive spirit.
On the inaugural day, our institution proudly presented a vibrant cultural programme in the evening, which lasted for one hour. The programme was entirely performed by our talented students, showcasing their creativity, discipline, and cultural values.
Adding to the excitement, our enthusiastic teachers also took to the stage and delivered an energetic dance performance, which was highly appreciated by the audience.
The first day of the cultural programme truly reflected the spirit of unity, talent, and celebration, making it a memorable beginning to the Jathre.

The Graduation Day and Farewell Ceremony was successfully held on 8th April 2026 in the august presence of our CEO, Dr. Radhakrishnan S. Aital, Principal of SVH College, Innanje, Mr. Rajendra Prabhu, and PTA President Mr. Gururaj Acharya, along with all teaching and non-teaching staff, parents, and students.
The event marked a joyful milestone where our little stars graduated from UKG to Grade 1, and the 7th standard students stepped into high school with enthusiasm and confidence.
On this memorable occasion, the 7th standard students expressed their love and affection for the school by donating a cupboard as a token of gratitude. The program was filled with happiness, pride, and emotional moments, celebrating both achievements and new beginnings.

A felicitation programme was held on April 1st to honour Mrs. Prabhavathi S. Adiga for her exemplary and dedicated service in education.

She began her career in 1977 as Headmistress at Mukundakripa School, later served as Administrative Officer of S.V.S. and S.V.H English Medium Schools from 2009, and continued her service at Kadiyali English Medium School from 2019. Her discipline, sincerity, and commitment have inspired generations of students and colleagues.

Apart from academics, she has made significant contributions to the arts through dance dramas, acting, singing, storytelling, and bhajans, nurturing students’ creativity and overall development.

The programme was held in the presence of Secretary Shri Ratnakumar, CEO Dr. Radhakrishna S. Aithal, Mr. V. G. Shetty (old student and managing prtner Ideal Medical Supplies, Udupi), Principal Mr. Nagraj (SMVITM Bantakal), PTA President Mr. Gururaj Acharya, Other heads of Sode Group of Educational Institutions, and the teaching and non-teaching staff.

The management, staff, and students expressed their heartfelt gratitude for her invaluable service and wished her good health, happiness, and peace.

On 28-02-2026, our school celebrated National Science Day with great enthusiasm and curiosity. A Science Model Competition was conducted for students of Classes 5 to 7, where they showcased their interest in science through creative and innovative projects.

The celebration concluded with a formal stage program, followed by the prize distribution ceremony to honor the winners of the Science Model Competition. The event inspired students to think scientifically and nurture their passion for discovery and innovation.

Our school children proudly performed on 28-02-2026 during the 1st Year Prathishta Vardhanthi Mahotsava at the sacred Shri Hosa Marigudi Temple, Kaup. The students showcased vibrant cultural performances filled with devotion, tradition, and enthusiasm. It was a memorable occasion that highlighted their talent and brought joy to the gathering of devotees and guests.

Our school Scouts and Guides actively participated in the Road Safety Week and Beach Cleaning Programme organized by Bharat Scouts and Guides, Udupi District, on 30-01-2026 at Kaup. The programme created awareness about road safety rules, traffic discipline, and environmental cleanliness. The students’ enthusiastic participation contributed to the success of the event.

S.V.S English Medium Nursery and Higher Primary School, Innanje, proudly celebrated the Republic Day & Colours of Culture 2026 on 26th January 2026 at Hayavadana Sabha Mantapa.
The programme began with the flag hoisting and inauguration by Dr. Radhakrishna S. Aithal, Chief Executive Officer, Sode Group of Educational Institutions.
The celebration featured colourful competitions for young children, including a Fancy Dress Competition for the 0–3 years category on the theme “Bal Krishna,” a Fancy Dress Competition for the 3–5 years category on the theme “Freedom Fighters,” and an Action Song Competition for the 3–5 years category.
The event was a joyful and meaningful celebration that highlighted unity, culture, and patriotism, with enthusiastic participation from students, parents, and staff.

Waste Management and Health Awareness Programme was conducted on 16/12/2025. The programme was organized to create awareness among students about the importance of cleanliness, proper waste management, and personal health protection. Mr. Mahesh, PDO, Barkur Gram Panchayat, addressed the students and explained the need for keeping the surroundings clean, avoiding plastic waste, separating dry and wet waste, and maintaining personal hygiene to prevent diseases. He also encouraged students to take responsibility for keeping their homes, school, and village clean. The programme was informative and motivated students to follow healthy and hygienic practices in their daily life.

On 27 November 2025, a medical check-up camp was conducted in our school for students. The health camp was carried out by a team of doctors from Dharmasthala Ayurvedic Medical College.

The doctors conducted general health examinations and provided valuable guidance regarding students’ health and well-being. The initiative aimed at ensuring the physical fitness of the children and promoting awareness about healthy habits from an early age.

The programme was successfully conducted with the cooperation of students, parents, and staff.

The Annual Day was celebrated on 22-11-2025 with great joy and enthusiasm. The programme was blessed by His Holiness Sri Sri Vishwavallabha Teertha Swamiji, who guided parents and students on nurturing values such as wisdom, humility, and discipline.

The event was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Joseph Lobo, who appreciated the institution for its value-based education. Inspiring messages were shared by Secretary Sri Ratnakumar, Lion V. G. Shetty, CEO Dr. Radhakrishna S. Aithal, and President Vidwan Padigar Sri Srinivas Tantri, motivating students to make the best use of every opportunity.

The celebration concluded with colorful cultural programmes by our students, showcasing their talents through dance, music, and drama dance, which added charm and vibrancy to the occasion and were appreciated by the audience.

An awareness program on Child Labour and Child Safety was conducted on 14-10-2025. Mr. Janardan, ASI, Kaup, addressed the gathering and explained the concept, legal aspects, and importance of child safety. CPC 398 Mr. Omprakash was also present and supported the session. The program helped create awareness among students about their rights, safety, and protection.

On 1st July 2025, students and teachers of S.V.S. English Medium School, Innanje participated in the program “Our Walk Toward Nature” by visiting the home of Innanje’s renowned agriculturist , Dr. Joseph Lobo.

During the visit, students observed plants, trees, medicinal herbs, flowers, fruits, and birds. Dr. Lobo actively engaged the students by asking questions, encouraging them to plant trees, and sharing valuable knowledge about nature and the environment. Students, including Scouts and Guides members, participated enthusiastically, and later shared their experiences, making the program both educational and memorable.

The School Parliament Inauguration was held on 19 June 2025 with great enthusiasm in our school. The student leaders were democratically elected by the students through a proper election process, promoting leadership and responsibility among them.

The elected members took their oath of office and pledged to perform their duties sincerely and uphold the values of the institution. The programme highlighted the importance of discipline, teamwork, and student participation in school governance.

The ceremony marked the beginning of a new term of leadership, encouraging students to develop confidence, responsibility, and a spirit of service.

An awareness program on mosquito-borne diseases such as Dengue, Chikungunya, and Malaria was conducted by Shakuntala Primary Health Centre (PHC), Kaup on 10-06-2025. The program focused on preventive and safety measures, including elimination of stagnant water, maintaining cleanliness, use of mosquito nets and repellents, and the importance of early medical consultation. Students and staff actively participated in the session.
