About Our School

S.V.H English Medium High School, Innanje, began its journey in 2005 as a Kannada Medium school with the divine blessings of H.H Shri. Shri. Vishwotthama Theertha Swamiji of Sode Mutt and later transitioned into an English Medium school.

The school achieved its second milestone in 2008 with the inauguration of its new school building. The auspicious occasion was graced by esteemed dignitaries including Dr. V.S Acharya, the honourable Home Minister of Karnataka. The programme was witnessed by our Respected Secretary Sri Rathnakumar, Correspondent Padigaru Sri Srinivasa Tantry and Headmaster Sri Rajendra Prabhu, whose dedicated efforts greatly contributed to the progress of the institution.

This memorable event marked the beginning of a new chapter in the history of S. V. H. English Medium High School, strengthening its vision of providing quality education and fostering holistic development of students.

Installation of Interact Club

S.V.H English Medium High School, Innanje

The Installation Ceremony of the Interact Club for the academic year 2025–26 of SVH Kannada Medium and English Medium was held on 22nd July 2025, organized by the Rotary Club, Shankarpura. The President of the Rotary Club, Shankarpura Rtn.Patrick D'souza, explained the rules and responsibilities of the Interact Club. The members of the Rotary Club, the Headmaster of the Kannada Medium section, Mr. Nataraj Upadhya, and the Headmistress of the English Medium section, Mrs. Sushma, were present at the event.

Formation of School Parliament

Formation of School Parliament

On 16/06/2025, the School Parliament was officially formed in our institution with great enthusiasm. The ceremony began with the announcement of the elected student leaders, who later took their oath of office with pride and commitment. The oath-taking symbolized their dedication towards serving their fellow students and upholding the values of the school.

On this occasion, our Administrative Officer, Smt. Prabhavathi Adiga, addressed the gathering. She clearly explained the roles and responsibilities of each leader, emphasizing qualities such as discipline, sincerity, teamwork, and leadership. She motivated the student parliament members to carry out their duties honestly and to set a good example for others.

The event instilled a sense of responsibility and leadership among the students, giving them a platform to develop their organizational and decision-making skills. It was indeed a memorable day that marked the beginning of student leadership for the academic year.

Yakshagana Training at Our School

Every Saturday, a free and special training session in Yakshagana, the traditional folk art of coastal Karnataka, is conducted for our students. This initiative is being organized under the able leadership of Sri Nataraj Upadhyaya, Headmaster of the Kannada Medium section. The training is imparted by Sri Shantarama Acharya, an experienced Yakshagana artist.

Through these sessions, students are introduced to the rich cultural heritage of Yakshagana, its unique dance style, music, and storytelling techniques. This training not only helps in preserving and promoting our traditional art form but also enhances students’ confidence, discipline, and creativity.

The Taluk Level Athletics Meet was held at Government Model Higher Primary School, Kaup. SVH English Medium High School, Innanje proudly announces the outstanding achievements of our Grade 8 students in the Under-14 category: 1. Dishanth – 2nd place in Discus Throw 2. Swathi – 2nd place and Jahnavi – 3rd place in Discus Throw 3. Adhya V. – 3rd place in the 200m Race

The Taluk Level Athletics Meet was held at Ajjarkad School, Udupi. SVH English Medium High School, Innanje is pleased to announce that Master Preetham, a student of Grade 10, has secured the 3rd place in the Discus Throw competition.

In SSLC examination 2024-25 our school has got 93.5% result. 10 distinction, 16 first class, 4 Second class. Master Shrinivas R Rao secured 97.76% and stood first in the school and Kumari Spoorthi secured 93.44% and stood second in the school.Chaithanya Prakash Shervegar 91.02%,Tanvi Naik 90.04%, Lavanya 90.24%, Deepthi S Acharya 89.92%, Amogh Acharya 88.32%, Harshitha 87.68%, Chaithra Acharya 87.52%, Anujna D Acharya 85.12%.

Achievement

The Interact Club students of our school participated in a 17-minute group competition comprising a folk song, a patriotic dance, and a skit on environmental protection. The team secured 2nd place in the event. Additionally, two of our students took part in the quiz competition and won 1st place. Miss Keerthi was awarded 2nd place for Best Master of Ceremony. All these competitions were organized by the Rotary Club, Shankarpura.
