\"\"<\/a>The ISTE Student Chapter of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute<\/strong> of Technology & Management, Bantakal, Udupi in association with Association of Consulting Civil Engineers<\/strong> (India) (ACCE) and The Ramco Cements Ltd<\/strong>., organised technical lectures as part of the ongoing Techno Week -2014 in the institute premises on 19 September 2014<\/strong>. Er. Rajendra Kalbhavi, Project Director, D K Nirmithi Kendra (DKNK), NITK-Surathkal presented an informative lecture on \u201cEco friendly Construction Technologies\u201d dealing with very minute details of the available technologies. He was also mentioning that the DKNK is very much positive in sharing and training the technologies in order to cater the demands of building cost effective and eco friendly buildings and houses. One more guest Er. Anil Baliga, Proprietor of M\/s Concrete Solutions, Konchady, Mangalore enlightened the audience with his impressive talk on \u201cConstruction Chemicals\u201d and enriched the audience with the necessity and inevitability of construction chemicals in the present day construction industry.<\/p>\n

The Principal of the Institute, Prof. Dr. Radhakrishna S. Aithal, Er. Kennet D\u2019Souza, Governing Council Member of ACCE (I), Er. A Ravishankar, Convener of Techno Week \u2013 2014, Er. Ashwil, Executive of The Ramco Cements Ltd., Prof. Dr. A Ganesha, Dean (Academics), Prof. Dr. B Radheshyam, Head of Civil Engineering Department and Office Bearers of ISTE Student Chapter were present on the occasion. Ms. Snehal Rao welcomed the gathering while Ms. Jovita D\u2019Souza thanked all those responsible for the conduction of the programme.
