\"\"Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management (SMVITM), Bantakal, observed Kargil Vijay Diwas with patriotic fervour to honour the courage and supreme sacrifice of the Indian Armed Forces during the Kargil War.<\/p>\n

Ex-Serviceman Subedar Raveendra Kamath, who was a part of the Kargil War, was the Chief Guest of the function. He was felicitated by the institution in recognition of his dedicated service to the nation and his contribution during the Kargil War.<\/p>\n

Addressing the gathering, he shared his experiences during the war and reflected on the courage, resilience, and sacrifices of the Indian Armed Forces. He inspired students to serve the nation in every possible way and motivated the youth, especially NCC cadets, to join the Armed Forces and contribute to the service of the nation.<\/p>\n

The programme was presided over by Dr. Nagaraj Bhat, Principal, SMVITM, and attended by Dr. Sudarshan Rao K., Dean (Academics), Heads of Departments, faculty members, staff, students, and NCC cadets.
