\"\"Under the guidance of Ms. Megha Rani R, Assistant Professor (Senior), Department of AI-ML, final year students of AI & DS from SMVITM successfully presented their research paper at the 4th International Conference on Innovation in Engineering & Management (ICIEM\u201926) held at Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra (Ranchi), Noida Campus.<\/p>\n

The student team comprising Prathvi V Suvarna, Kevin Mendonca, Ashmith Praveen Kumar, and K Vivek Kamath presented their paper titled \u201cExplainable AI for Pneumonia Diagnosis: Enhancing Trust in CNN Predictions with Visual Interpretability\u201d during the conference conducted on 19\u201320 March 2026 (Hybrid Mode).<\/p>\n

The research focuses on improving transparency and trust in AI-based medical diagnosis by integrating explainable AI techniques with deep learning models.<\/p>\n

The students were also awarded Presentation Certificates in recognition of their successful participation.<\/p>\n

This achievement reflects the students\u2019 strong research capabilities and the department\u2019s commitment to advancing innovation in emerging technologies.<\/p>\n
