\"\"The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, SMVITM, proudly announces the publication of a research paper by its faculty in the reputed Q2 journal Engineering Research Express.<\/p>\n

The paper titled \u201cSpoken Language Identification System for Detecting Coastal Karnataka Languages Using Transfer Learning and Multi-View Learning\u201d presents an advanced approach to language identification using modern machine learning techniques.<\/p>\n

The research was authored by Mr. Sachin Prabhu, Assistant Professor (SG), with Dr. Shilpa Kamath S, Associate Professor, as co-author.<\/p>\n

This work is the result of collaborative efforts with esteemed institutions including Impact College of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Bengaluru; MIT, MAHE, Manipal; and IIT Dharwad.<\/p>\n

This achievement highlights the department\u2019s continuous efforts in advancing research and contributing to emerging technologies in speech processing and artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n
