\"\"On the occasion of World Water Day, students of SMVITM performed a powerful street play at Shirva to raise awareness about water pollution and its consequences.<\/p>\n

The play portrayed the story of a farmer who, influenced by a pesticide company, sells his farmland and turns to fishing for livelihood. However, tragedy strikes when his family falls ill after consuming contaminated fish from a polluted river. Despite medical efforts, lives are lost, and it is revealed that industrial pollutants from the pesticide company had severely contaminated the water, affecting both aquatic life and humans.<\/p>\n

The narrative highlighted the devastating impact of irresponsible industrial practices and the importance of preserving natural water resources. Inspired by a real-life incident in Japan, the performance delivered a strong social message to the public.<\/p>\n

The actors, direction, and overall execution were highly commendable, effectively engaging the audience and spreading awareness at the grassroots level.<\/p>\n
