The NSS-YRC Unit\u00a0of the Sode Group of Institutions, in collaboration with the KMC Blood Centre<\/strong>, successfully organized a blood donation camp on 25 November 2025<\/strong>. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Sachin S. Bhat<\/strong>, Dean (R&C), SMVITM, in the esteemed presence of Dr. Deep Madkaiker<\/strong>, Assistant Professor, Department of IHBT, KMC, Kasturba Hospital Blood Centre, Manipal, and the Guest of Honour Mr. Raghavendra Rao<\/strong>, HDFC Operations Manager, Udupi.<\/p>\n The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty, staff, and students, with over 149 individuals<\/strong> voluntarily donating blood. Their selfless contributions reflected a strong commitment to social responsibility and humanitarian values.<\/p>\n Addressing the gathering, Dr. Sachin S. Bhat<\/strong> emphasized the importance of blood donation in saving lives and appreciated the NSS-YRC Unit for successfully organizing the camp. He encouraged students to actively participate in such noble initiatives and contribute positively to society. Dr. Deep Madkaiker<\/strong> highlighted the life-saving value of blood donation and expressed gratitude to the institution\u2019s management for their support in facilitating the camp.
