\nArtificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management (SMVITM), Bantakal, achieved remarkable success by securing Second Place at an International-Level 24-Hour Hackathon held at Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangaluru, on 9th and 10th October 2025.
\nThe winning team comprised Chethan V Kotian, Ashley Fernandes, Chethan U M, and Aditi Competing under the Computer Science and AI track, the team developed an innovative project titled \u201cReal-Time Smart Queue Management System for Hospitals.\u201d The project focuses on improving patient flow in hospitals by leveraging artificial intelligence to
\nmanage queues efficiently, reduce waiting times, and enhance the overall quality of healthcare service delivery. For their outstanding performance, the team was awarded a cash prize and received an internship offer from Swizosoft, recognizing their innovation and problem-solving skills.
