In a powerful demonstration of environmental responsibility, Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology & Management (SMVITM), Bantakal, observed World Environment Day on June 5, 2025<\/strong>, with a spirited awareness rally themed \u201cEnding Plastic Usage Globally.\u201d<\/strong> The event was organized by the NSS-YRC, NCC, and IIC units<\/strong>, drawing the enthusiastic participation of over 400 students, faculty, and staff<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Flagged off by the CEO of SMVITM at Shankarpura<\/strong>, the rally served as a public call to action against plastic pollution. Participants carried creative placards<\/strong> and raised impactful slogans<\/strong>, capturing public attention and promoting awareness of the urgent need to eliminate plastic waste. The rally concluded meaningfully at the SMVITM campus.<\/p>\n
