Department of Mechanical Engineering at SMVITM and the Department of Mechanical & Industrial Engineering, Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal have jointly organized Two-Day Workshop on \u201cCFD and its Applications\u201d<\/strong> association with ISTE student chapter and Institution\u2019s Innovation Council for the benefit of 2nd<\/sup> and 3rd<\/sup> year students of Mechanical Engineering on 06, and 07 March 2025. Dr. Madhwesh N and Dr. Dolfred Vijay Fernandes Associate Professors in the Department of Mechanical & Industrial Engineering, Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal were the resource person of the program. Dr. Arunachala U. Chandavar, Professor & Head, Department of Mechanical & Industrial Engineering, MIT, Manipal has addressed the students and briefed the importance of CFD and its applications in the industries.<\/p>\n The following were covered in the theoretical sessions of the workshop:<\/p>\n In the hands-on sessions, the following exercises were conducted:<\/p>\n Dr. Bharath K Bhat from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, SMVITM, Bantakal was the coordinator of the program.
