Bantakal, Cadet CHM Arpita Thantry, a first-semester student of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management (SMVITM),Bantakal, has been selected to perform as the main dancer in the traditional Yakshagana dance form at the Republic Day Camp (RDC) which will be held on January 26, 2025 in new delhi. Arpita, a dedicated member of the 4 Kar Engr Coy NCC who is a representative of Karnataka -Goa directorate, Mangaluru group, will showcase her exceptional talent and cultural heritage on one of India’s most esteemed national platforms. Her selection as the lead dancer for Yakshagana, a folk dance form rooted in the region, is a remarkable achievement and a testament to her dedication, discipline, and versatility. The Principal, Management, and Staff of\u00a0 SMVITM, along with the Commanding Officer and PI staff of 4 Kar Engr Coy NCC, have all expressed their immense pride in Arpita\u2019s accomplishment.
