K. Manjunath, Student welfare officer, SMVITM, Bantakal, was the speaker. In his talk he mentioned that looking into the contribution of Indian Mathematician Srinivas\u00a0 Ramanujan , Ex. Prime Minister\u00a0 Dr. Monmohan Sigh declared Ramanjans 125th birth anniversary as \u00a0 National Mathematics Day in the year 2012 . Also he narrated about the Ramanujans early life and interest toward the numbers. He inspired the students taking the example that without the formal training in pure mathematics, he had made substantial contributions in Mathematics so he asked students to create a new mile stone at this campus.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-26021 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/sode-edu.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Maths-day-2022-1-300x163.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"163\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sode-edu.in\/smvitm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Maths-day-2022-1-300x163.jpg 300w, https:\/\/sode-edu.in\/smvitm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Maths-day-2022-1.jpg 734w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Principal, Professor Dr. Thirumaleshwara Bhat welcomed the gathering and briefed about the importance of the day. Dr. Lolita Priya castelino, HOD of Mathematics, mentioned the names of the students who scored 100 in Mathematics in the end semester examination and were honoured by the institution.\u00a0 Also, distributed the prizes of various events conducted under ISTE banner.<\/p>\n<p>The program was compered by Ms. Shrutha Bhat\u00a0 of IV year CSE and Mr. Dhanush Shet of I year CSE.
