Mr. B. S. Venkatasubramanian, ASNT NDT Level III, Training and Certification Superintendent, V&amp;G Industrial Testing Laboratories Pvt Ltd, Mangalore was the resource person. This program was specifically designed in order to provide a special insight regarding Non destructive Testing, its general applications and career opportunities in the same.<br \/>\nThe program include demonstrations and experimentations using different techniques of NDT and informative case studies Mr.B. S. Venkatasubramanian addressed the participants with valuable information on Non Destructive Testing, general application and career opportunities, challenges, technologies in the NDT field. He demonstrated different techniques of NDT with real-life examples and case studies.<\/p>\n<p>The theories of Visual testing, Ultrasonic Testing, Radiography testing, Dye Penetrant Testing, Magnetic particle<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-25998 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/sode-edu.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/NDT-2-300x164.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"164\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sode-edu.in\/smvitm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/NDT-2-300x164.jpg 300w, https:\/\/sode-edu.in\/smvitm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/NDT-2-768x419.jpg 768w, https:\/\/sode-edu.in\/smvitm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/NDT-2.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/> method and many more were explained in detail. In the second phase during the Q &amp; A session, queries from students were considered and answered in a very convenient way. Dr. Sudarshan Rao K, HoD, Dept. of Mechanical Engineering, and many faculty from the department were present during the event. The event was coordinated by Mr. Sudhir, ISTE Dept.
