But for the transfusion to happen, there should be donors available. This is where young and healthy people come into picture where they can do blood donation. After the donation of blood, it is stored in the<br \/>\nblood banks from where it can be given to the patients when they are in need of it. Also he said that our one donation can save the lives of up to 3 people in danger. You will be a life saver by donating just 15 \u2013 20 minutes of your time and a pint of blood in a pain-free and easy process. You get to save their lives and your own since you will get to know more about your own body and will be able to make changes according to the need. He mentioned that blood donation is an expression of unconditional kindness and compassion. The importance of blood donation should be inculcated in schools and colleges. It is one of the noblest and easiest good jobs anyone can do. &amp;quot;People should pledge to donate blood four times a year and experience the happiness of saving up to 12 lives, and he added.<br \/>\nDr.Thirumaleshwara Bhat, Principal; Dr.Ganesh Aithal Vice Principal; conveyed their best wishes to th program. Ms. Chandana, 3rd year CSE welcomed the gathering and compeered the program. Ms. Adithi Nayak of 2 nd year CSE introduced the guests and Ms. Manvitha Bhat of 3 rd year CSE proposed vote of thanks. Mr. Nagaraja Rao, Coordinator NSS conducted the program.
