The Program was jointly organized by the Institution\u2019s Innovation Council of the institute and MUTBI, Manipal.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Shrihari Upadhyaya, CEO, Manipal Universal Technology Business Incubator (MUTBI) participated as the resource person. During the session, Dr. Shrihri explained various incubation schemes of Government of India like NIDHI-EIR, NIDHI-PRAYAS, and how they are supporting startups. He mentioned that the faculties, students and alumni\u2019s of institute plays important role in creating entrepreneurial culture within the institute. He quoted several examples of well-known entrepreneurs and told the gathering that mindset plays important role in setting up a successful company.<\/p>\n<p>He gave the examples of various startups incubated at MUTBI Manipal and how MUTBI supported them through various funding schemes.<\/p>\n<p>The resource person briefly described the implementation of National Innovation Startup Policy of the Government of India.<\/p>\n<p>The Principal of the institute Dr. Thirumaleshwara Bhat, Dr. Sudarshan Rao, Dean (Quality Assurance) HoDs of various department, staff and faculties of the institute participated in the program and interacted with the resource person.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Arun Upadhyaya, Convener of Institution\u2019s Innovation Council\u00a0 organnised the program. welcomed Ms. Akshatha Rao introduced the resource person and proposed vote of thanks at the end of the program.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management, Bantakal conducted a Session on \u201cIncubation &#8211; Opportunities for Students &amp; Faculties and Institution Building\u201d on 30, August, 2022.
