\"\"On the occasion of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, NSS-YRC Unit, Eco Club, of SMVITM in association with KSTA\u00a0 jointly organized a talk on “Effects of one time usage plastic & How to avoid using that?” by Mr. Sachin Prabhu, Assistant Professor (Sr.), Dept.of E & C at Shri Narayana Guru High School, Padubelle on 12 August 2022.<\/p>\n

In his talk he explained the effects of usage of plastic to environment as well as to our health. He motivated the students to do the alternatives to reduce the usage of plastic in our day to day activities. Some of the tips given are usage of steel or copper bottle, Taking cloth bag to the market, getting milk using steel cans, buying groceries in large quantity to reduce the usage of more number of plastic bags.<\/p>\n

He gave some project ideation to the students like waste plastics usage to develop useful products which is called as best out of waste.<\/p>\n

After the session 100 cloth bags and flags were distributed to the students. More than 100 students were benefited by the session.<\/p>\n
